The fifth NanoDay of LNQE in Hanover

On Wednesday, 30 September 2009 was held the NanoDay 2009 of the Laboratory of Nano and Quantum Engineering (LNQE) in Hanover. It was the fifth NanoDay of these annual workshops. In eight lectures and a poster session, the latest research results of interdisciplinary research in the field of nanotechnology have been presented. By the Circle of Friends of the Leibniz Universität Hannover sponsored poster prizes were awarded to this year:

“Mesoporous Ge layers by electrochemical etching for lift-off processes“
E. Garralaga Rojas1, J. Hensen1, C. Baur2, G. Strobl3, and R. Brendel1
1 Institut für Solarenergieforschung GmbH Hameln/Emmerthal (ISFH)
2 European Space Agency (ESA) – ESTEC, the Netherlands
3 AZUR SPACE Solar Power GmbH, Germany

„Synthesis of nanocrystalline magnesium fluoride and its application in the TIG welding process to prevent corrosion“
F. Waltz1, M. Swider2, T. Hassel2, K. Möhwald2, F.-W. Bach2, P. Behrens1
