On 05.05.2010 was held the general meeting of the LNQE 2010. The main agenda items were:
- Report on the activities of the LNQE since the last general meeting by Prof. Dr. Rolf Haug
- Changes in membership: Dr. Carsten Klempt and Prof. Dr. Ernst Rasel, both are from the Institute of Quantum Optics, allow to join unanimously by the members. Left are Apl. Prof. Dr. Andreas Fissel (Information Technology Laboratory) and Prof. Dr. Jan Arlt (Institute of Quantum Optics), which is Professor at Aarhus University since March 2010.
- Election of a Board member:
- Since the end of 2009, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hans Heinrich Gatzen retired. The LNQE thanks Prof. Gatzen very much for his excellent cooperation in LNQE executive board in recent years, particularly in the construction of LNQE-research building and the introduction of the study course "nanotechnology".
- As the successor to the executive board the members elect Prof. Rissing unanimously.
- LNQE new build: Prof. Haug reported on the construction process and the current state of use.
- Finance report / definition of the membership in 2010: The membership fee for 2010 was set at 2.000, - €.
