Date note: Handover of the new LNQE Research Building

Laboratory of Nano and Quantum Engineering is completed

The Executive Board of the Laboratory for Nano and Quantum Engineering (LNQE) and Prof. Erich Barke, President of the Leibniz Universität Hannover, handover on Friday 20 November 2009 at 14 p m the LNQE research new building. Matthias Reinhard, head of public project management Hannover, passes over the building in the presence of Lower Saxony''s Minister for Science and Culture, Lutz Stratmann, Mayor Stephan Weil and architect Ulrich Gremmelspacher.

By LNQE is on the site of the Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany rise to a unique laboratory for advanced research in the field of nanotechnology. Here, scientists from different disciplines work together on interdisciplinary projects. New Laboratories (435 square meters), a research clean room, which has a very low dust particles content in the air (409 square meters), and working offices for more than 40 people (509 square meters), establish excellent working conditions for researchers.
