On 30 October 2010 had come: the Leibniz Universität Hannover opened in "A Night Out With Science" their doors and turned by 18 clock to midnight in a total of 140 actions in front of everyone. Also present was the Laboratory of Nano and Quantum Engineering with guides and scientific presentations.
The research building and especially the high technology and operation of large-scale research cleanroom explained and demonstrated. A scientific staff member of the physical chemistry presented recent research on nano-dye solar cells and scientists from the Technical Chemistry demonstrated the “Easy to Clean”-effect of nanoparticle-coated surfaces. The event was with about 150 interested visitors during the evening a success.
