Dr.-Ing. Jan Krügener successfully habilitated

LNQE member becomes private lecturer

PD Dr.-Ing. Jan Krügener from the Institute for Electronic Materials and Devices at Leibniz University Hannover has successfully completed his habilitation process. With his inaugural lecture on 19 May 2025 on the topic ‘Why do we build 3-dimensional transistors today?’, he has now been granted the right to teach.

PD Dr.-Ing. Jan Krügener conducts research into the use of semiconductor technology expertise for highly efficient solar cells.
