Digital microscope for quick and easy acquisition of high-resolution images for documentation and analysis

The LNQE cleanroom now has a new state-of-the-art digital microscope, the VHX 7000N from Keyence.

The system has a 4K CMOS camera and magnifications from 20x to 2500x can be selected using a motorised turret. The illumination on all objectives is infinitely adjustable between bright field / dark field and mixed illumination. A transmitted light unit is also installed. The objectives include a coaxial and ring light unit. XYZ directions are motorised and tilt angles from +60° to -90° are possible, whereby the object remains in the centre. The user-friendly digital microscope is available to the LNQE working groups. The device description and contact person for the system are listed on the LNQE website under Technology in LNQE Research Building.
