Nanotechnology course successfully awarded "Leibniz Quality in Teaching" seal

Very positive overall assessment by the external reviewers

After evaluation, the Bachelor''s and Master''s programs in Nanotechnology have received the "Leibniz Quality in Teaching Seal" from the Centre for Quality Enhancement in Teaching and Learning. The two study programs are thus successfully evaluated until 2029!

According to the external evaluators, "the strongly interdisciplinary degree programs are very attractive and tie in excellently with the proven strengths of the participating faculties. The overall assessment goes on to say: "In the opinion of the experts, the study programs are now well established, and the graduates have excellent opportunities on the job market. In particular, there appears to be a specific and very attractive profile after completion of the master''s program. On the part of industry, there is a high level of acceptance, which is reflected both in the graduates'' chances of being hired and in the opportunities for specialized internships." The evaluators particularly appreciated the high degree of identification with the degree programs as well as a commitment to further development on the part of the students and those responsible for the programs.

With the "Leibniz Quality in Teaching" review, Leibniz University Hannover has developed a procedure that has replaced the previous accreditation or reaccreditation by an external accreditation agency in the course of system accreditation. The seals for nanotechnology were already awarded in January 2021, but with two conditions, the timely fulfillment of which has now been confirmed by the  Centre for Quality Enhancement in Teaching and Learning.
