NanoDay 2008

The nanotechnology workshop took place in Hannover/Germany already for the forth time.

Thursday, the 25 September 2008 the annual NanoDay of the Laboratory of Nano and Quantum Engineering (LNQE) took place in Hannover/Germany. In eight short talks and one poster session with 40 registered posters an insight into the resent interdisciplinary research in the LNQE was given. The best three posters were awarded with friendly support of the Freundeskreis der Universität Hannover e. V.

The prize winners are:

"Nanopartikel als Kornfeiner in Aluminiumlegierungen"
Eric Wulf1, Christian Krause1, Dirk Bormann1, Mirko Schaper1, Jörg-August Becker2, Verena Becker2, Armin Feldhoff2, Friedrich-Wilhelm Bach1
1 Institut für Werkstoffkunde, Leibniz Universität Hannover
2 Institut für Physikalische Chemie und Elektrochemie, Leibniz Universität Hannover

"Enhancement of photocatalytical activity by gold nanostructures in ordered mesoporous titania films"
Inga Bannat1, Katrin Wessels1, Detlef Bahnemann2, Torsten Oekermann1, Michael Wark1
