High award for LNQE member

Prof. Dr. Paul Heitjans from the Institute of Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry at Leibniz University Hannover has received the Heyn-Denkmünze 2022 from the German Materials Society. The Heyn-Denkmünze is the highest award of the German Materials Society and is named after its first chairman Emil Heyn. It is awarded for achievements in the field of materials science and engineering that have made significant progress in scientific, practical or economic terms.
