After the new Board members at the last meeting of the LNQE on 11/05/2011 had been chosen by vote, the board had to elect a speaker from their middle. Unopposed, Prof. Rolf Haug of the Institute for Solid State Physics, Nanostructures Group was re-elected. He accepted the election.
