The seventh European Conference on Trapped Ions (ECTI) 2023 was held at the Bückeburg Castle from 25.09.2023 - 29.09.2023.
The conference brought together the international ion trapping community and covered the full range of topics in that community, including quantum computing, simulations and sensing, precision measurements and optical clocks, crystals and dynamics, molecules, and more.
The Laboratory of Nano and Quantum Engineering (LNQE) and the Hannover Institute of Technology (HITec) were pleased to support ECTI with a major lab tour. The tour consisted of four stations:
- Cleanroom for nanofabrication (LNQE)
- Penning Trap experiment (LNQE)
- Einstein-Elevator (HITec)
- Clock laboratory (HITec)
