On Saturday, 15 November 2014, the Leibniz Universität Hannover opened in "a night out with science" its doors and introduced itself to all interested parties from 6 pm until midnight in tours, lectures and experiments. The Laboratory of Nano and Quantum Engineering participated with "Nano Engineering - How smallest structures arise".
In a short presentation followed by a lab tour was presented how to produce the extremely small samples and how they can be characterized in order to make the fascinating physical effects of micro- and nano-world visible. Shown were the building technology and the technologically intensive, extremely low dust clean rooms. There are all facilities available to carry out all the process steps starting from a wafer to produce and to characterize novel microelectronic devices.
In the six events, we had a total of 96 guests during the evening. It was a pleasure to us.
