Prof. Dr. Andreas Schell was appointed to the W1 Professorship for Quantum Technology at Leibniz University Hannover at the end of 2019. His research group is located at the Institute of Solid State Physics.
The Schell group is researching the development and implementation of concepts of optical elements and setups for quantum sensors and is dedicated to the metrological characterization of single photon emitters and detectors for their use in these fields.
