RTG 3158 Quantum Photonics

The groups involved in this Research Training Group span a new arc from single semiconductor-based quantum emitters and new materials to the generation of tailored photonic states and novel, scalable and compact photonic quantum systems based on photonic integrated circuits.

The scientists of RTG 3158 have formed an interdisciplinary network  in the Laboratory of Nano and Quantum Engineering . The RTG 3158 builds a scientific bridge between the two clusters of excellence ‘Quantum Frontiers’ and ‘PhoenixD’, both led by LUH and significantly shaped by the physics research groups. All RTG project leaders are either members of QuantumFrontiers or PhoenixD and thus contribute the broad expertise and excellent infrastructure of both clusters of excellence to the RTG.
