The Quantum Valley Lower Saxony (QVLS) Winter School on quantum information processing with trapped ions brought an international group of students to Hannover and Braunschweig.
The Winter School covered a wide range of topics, from trap technology to basic atomic physics and the fundamentals of quantum error correction. The Winter School included lectures by experts, laboratory visits and a social programme.
The Laboratory of Nano and Quantum Engineering was very happy to support the QVLS Winter School 2025 with a lab tour of nanofabrication in the clean room and the ion trap experiment of Christian Ospelkaus' group.
We hope all participants enjoyed the tour!
