BMBF funds the Future Cluster in the Clusters4Future programme with 15 million euros

In the second round of the Clusters4Future competition of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), Lower Saxony's QVLS-iLabs will be funded as one of a total of seven new future clusters. There were 117 applications in the second round of the competition. The aim of QVLS-iLabs is to establish an open innovation network on quantum technologies in the Hannover-Braunschweig region. Future clusters are funded in three funding phases of three years each with a total of up to 45 million euros.

Prof. Dr Christian Ospelkaus, Leibniz University Hannover and PTB Braunschweig, is the spokesperson of QVLS-iLabs. He is a long-standing member of the LNQE and has been on the LNQE board since 2016.
