The Quantum Future Academy is a guest in Hanover. 30 students spend a week gaining unique insights into the world of applied quantum technologies, exploring career paths and the latest technologies.
Transferring the basic principles of quantum physics into specific technical applications still requires enormous development efforts, e.g. in engineering or computer science. Anyone who wants to make these new technologies profitable must also create business models and find markets. Young start-ups as well as established companies are already investing heavily in quantum technologies.
During the academy, students are given an exclusive insight into this forward-looking field of technology and the opportunity to broaden their horizons in terms of both science and entrepreneurship.
The Academy is hosted by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research as well as Quantum Valley Lower Saxony (QVLS), Leibniz University Hannover, the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt and the Technische Universität Braunschweig.
The Laboratory of Nano and Quantum Engineering is very happy to support the Quantum Future Academy 2024 with a laboratory tour of nanofabrication in the clean room for the participants.
We hope everyone enjoyed the tour!
